(etc). This sequence
is also used for the chorus. The sequence above is played twice for
the intro, and the D flat ( Db ) powerchord is used as the bridge.
After the Db powerchord is played as the bridge here, the sequence starts
with Bb7sus4 followed by Bb7 and then the
Ab, Cb, Gb, sequence
starts again. The hatch (#) means you should try to catch the adjacent
open E and A strings as you are changing from the chords.

She slips into the night
and she is gone, gone to set the score, gone into the town,

(as before)
Rain shiningin her eyes.
Her brother started school again today, a thought to pass the time,
To occupy my mind, while
i'm waiting for her.
Verse 2:
Down in the basement,
listen to the rain, thinking things over, i think it over again, oh, oh
oh, i think it over again.
Verse 3:
I'm riding it down, listen
to the rain, she'll be here soon, i lie back and drift away, oh, oh, oh,
i lie back and drift away.

Solo:
The bridge up to the solo
is composed of a Db powerchord, play this for a while and then add in an
A#, 6th fret on the 6th string ( E ).
The solo is one of the
most easy of Ash's to play.
e-------------------------------------6----------------------------6
B--3--------------4-----4----------------3---------------4----------
G-----3--------3-----3-----3--3--3----------3----------3-----3---3--
D-------3---4------------------------------------3--4---------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------
Just repeat this, as
the second half is practically identical.
This is the solo as on
the recorded version of Goldfinger. When it is played live it ends
with:
e----------------------------------------
B--3------------------------------------
G----3----------------------------------
D------3--4 4--3------------------------
A------------------3b4r3
--1--1------------
E----------------------------------------
The 3b4r3means you start
at 3, bend the string up to 4 and then fo back to 3. During the final
outro a little riff lik ethis is played, live it is done by charlotte,
i think :).
