, Inishowen Known locally as Burt Chapel, the Church of St. Aengus, is a modern award winning structure. Built to merge with the surrounding scenery, its shape has been based on the Grianan of Aileach, which stands nearly eight hundred feet above it. The acoustic quality of this church has been noted and it is well worth visiting for its modern stain glass windows.

St. Moirialiagh Church, Malin, Inishowen Close to a famous cave, refereed to by locals as the "wee house of Malin" , stands the remains of St. Moirialiagh Church. An altar remains there and a stone carving from the church is now house at the National Museum, Dublin. The church has been dated to medieval times. |
