Report: Cork City finally secured a League victory today at Turner's Cross where UCD were the visitors.

Ex-Manchester United youth player Kevin Grogan gave the Students the lead two minutes before the break. Pat Morley equalised for City fifteen minutes into the second half, his header parryed by 'keeper Barry Ryan and helped in by UCD defender Alan Mahon.

Referee Damien Hancock, in his first game in charge at Turner's Cross, sent City boss Derek Mountfield from the touchline but Pat Morley then headed home James Mulligan's cross to give City a much needed three points.
