Report: Cork City moved within two points of league leaders Bohemians with a much-deserved 2-0 victory over Galway United at Turner's Cross.

Pat Morley opened the scoring ten minutes into the second half with his third goal in as many games, when Greg O'Halloran's cross was met by the veteran striker at the near post. James Mulligan doubled City's lead five minutes later with his first goal for his new club.
