Report: Try as they
did, Bohemians failed in their bid to regain their advantage
at the top of the eircom Premier Division, following
today’s hard fought scoreless draw with Cork City at
Turner’s Cross. Shelbourne took the initiative from
Bohs with a 3-1 victory over St. Pat’s last night, but
a win today would have been enough for Roddy Collins’
side to restore a one point advantage.
However, City came into the game on the
back of three wins and would have been confident of
taking the three points as Bohs have failed to win in
Cork in five years. But, with blustery conditions prevailing,
both sides cancelled each other out, and in the end
will be thankful to emerge with a share of the points.
