We're working on a list of prominent Irish people who have either admitted using cannabis 'in the past', or who are calling for it to be legalised/decriminalised. So far we've got snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan (thrown out of a tournament for testsing positive for cannabis), Boyzone star Mikey Graham (see below), U2 bassist Adam Clayton, psychiatrist Anthony Clare, even Labour Party leader Ruairi Quinn has admitted to smoking a doobie, as has current anti-drugs minister Eoin Ryan. Labour TD Emmett Stagg has called for debate on the issue. Music magazine Hot Press repeatedly calls for legalization, and even the Irish Examiner has carried pro-pot articles and editorials.
