An invite to the review of the National Drugs Strategy

Posted on ROI-Legalise list:

As you may have read in yesterday's (Saturday) Irish Times, the Department of Tourism, Sport and Recreation is currently: "initiating a review of the National Drugs Strategy with a view to having a new policy agreed and in place by the end of 2000. This review, which will involve a nation-wide consultation process, will take account of the measures being undertaken to tackle drug misuse and the adequacy of these responses in the light of emerging trends in drug misuse nationally, with a view to making recommendations to Government on future drugs policy during 2000."
