Ok, this is how it works:

In formula one you have 22 drivers all trying to win the world championship. The championship consists of 17 races that takes place every two weeks in various parts of the world. For every race they win, or come close to winning they receive points, the driver with the most points at the end of the season wins.

There are three different ways "you" can score points,

1. By selecting who you think will be 5th place in each race. You pick a driver at the beginning of the season and each time he comes 5th you receive 10 points.
2. By selecting how many retirements (drivers who break down or crash) you think will take place in each race. Again you pick a number at the beginning, which will be yours for the season. To make it easier they go from: 1 - 4, 5 - 9, 10 - 14, 15 - 19 and over 20.

3. "The Game" You select the first 10 finishing drivers for each race. The points are:

1st - 10 points, 2nd - 6 points, 3rd - 4 points, 4th - 3 points, 5th - 2 points, 6th to 10th - 1point.
