Dear Ann I am 18 years of age and I am going out with a lad the last six months. We get along with each other brilliant and I really do like him. But my parents are totally against him because his two brothers are in jail and my boyfriend now and again takes tablets but I don't because I have enough problems on my mind at the moment without taking drugs but the best thing about him he wont take them around me. Can you please give me advice. Confused.

Dear confused, it is no wonder your parents are worried. It is more than likely that he will eventually get caught with drugs if he is taking them, it happens to the smartest of criminals. Your parents just are worried that this man will not make the best husband or father. And they are right. You say you do not take drugs, so I ask you to go out and find a guy you get on real well with, who is not into drugs. He will be better for you in the long run.
