Dear shy, I would suggest that you try taking up a hobby or pass time that both males and females do. Join a tennis club, go swimming or even something like join a karate club. Here you will learn how to deal with boys. you will be able to work on your social skills and before you know it you will have many boyfriends. By that I mean friends that are your boys!

Dear Ann, I was with this guy who I really like but the day after my friend went up talking to him about me and he said he was with me because there was no one else around. Dear upset, this boy sounds like a real creep. I would advise you keep well away from him. The things he says about you will quickly become old news. Try to look at what happened to you as a learning experience. You now know that you should not get involved with a boy without finding a little out about him first.
