This family run farm was established in 1994. The farm became well known in the 1980’s when it was home to Dinny, Biddy and Miley Byrne from the popular “Glenroe” series on RTE for 18 years. (from 1983 to 2001). The farm opened to the public in 1994 and there Glenroe Farm was born. For those of you who remember “Glenroe” you can find Dinny’s Cottage located just inside the main entrance – this is a 350 year old farm cottage with lots of history and in addition you can browse through some photographs from the famous series in the Coffee Shop.

Since it opened to the public the farm has welcomed thousands of families from all over the country and beyond who come to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful Wicklow countryside. Here you can relax and enjoy the great outdoors as well as getting up close to nature.
