EASTER
Each Easter weekend (Saturday/Sunday and Monday) Glenroe Farm hosts three
days of Easter fun on the farm. Egg races take part regularly throughout
each of the three days (every 20 minutes or so). There are two different
age groups for the egg races (1) Age 6 and under and (2) Age 7 and over.
Each child between the age of 2 and 14 will get a complimentary ticket
at the Admissions Desk on their way into the farm to take part in an
egg race. In addition there are spot prizes to be won throughout
the day, children’s entertainment, face painting and
the Easter Bunny. Normal admission prices apply.

CHRISTMAS
For the month of December the farm is transformed into a magical
Christmas venue. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in the homely
kitchen with various Christmas scenes to pass through on
the way through their cottage. In the Nativity Stable next door
you will find real live animals and Santa’s reindeer are
grazing in the field getting ready for their long journey
on Christmas Eve. Each child receives a present from Santa. The farm
is open weekdays in December for group outings (10 or more children)
and must be pre-booked. The farm opens weekends to the
public (Saturday/Sunday) and we do not take bookings for weekends.
