Ram Air Installation Instructions
1- Be warned. DO NOT REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE
AFM AT ALL!!
2- Take off the side cover of the engine bay.
3- Remove all the intake components that are
attached to the air side of the AFM.
4- Take the “L” shaped bracket off the AFM,
turn upside down and remount.
5- Mount the filter to the end of the intake
system and slide down towards the vent
6- Place the stock intake’s rubber grommet
back on the AFM without the spacers.
7- Mount the Ram Air’s flange side to the
AFM’s stud side (this will be a tight fit)
8- Make sure the stock rubber grommet is equally
placed for a proper seal.
9- Secure the flange with the provided lock
nuts.
10- Loose the bottm clamp on the first elbow
off the AFM
11- Turn the elbow so that it is lined up
parallel to the firewall and retighten.
12- Attach the straight brace to the inverted
“L” section with the provided bolt.
13- Replace the side cover.
14- Secure the other end of the straight brace
to the side cover’s mounting point.
Please make sure to double check everything
against the following list.
- Is the inverted “L” secured in both holes
of the AFM
- The straight brace should touch the edge
of the AFM’s top
- Is the inverted “L” bracket pointing towards
the back of the car.
