"Bahrain Cruise" is one of only two Irish Sport Horses to have been approved in 1999. He is a straight moving, athletic and careful son of the World famous "Cruising". "Cruising's" dam "Mullacrew" was also a top international Showjumper for the Army. She won at major shows including Lucerne, Rome and Wembley. She was by "Nordlys", a thoroughbred by "Nasrullah".

The dam of "Bahrain Cruise" is by the T.B. "Bahrain" who was the sire of many international showjumpers such as "Kilcoltrim", "Rainaway" and she is a full sister to "The Swan", German National Showjumping champion and "The Cardinal", RDS Hunter Champion. "Bahrain Cruise's" Grand Dam "Zarragh" by "Ozymandius" is the mother of Paul Darragh's international showjumper "Carrolls Heide" and the Swiss International "Nice Day".

"Bahrain Cruise" qualified for Millstreet and Dublin loose jumping as a three year old and was the highest placed colt in both finals. As a four year old he qualified for the RDS Kerrygold Horse Show where he competed both days going clear. "Bahrain Cruise" was the highest placed colt in the National Discovery at Millstreet. As a five year old he consistently jumped clear rounds and qualified for both the five year old Championship at the RDS and the Boomerang at Millstreet where he was placed third. Again as a six and seven year old he consistently campaigned on the National Circuit qualififying for all major Championships - RDS, Millstreet, Cavan etc.  He was winner of Boomerang in Main Arena in Millstreet in 2001.  He represented Ireland at World Championships for Young Horses at Lanaken in 2002.

On the genetic evaluation programme, carried out in 2000 at UCD, "Bahrain Cruise" was once again the highest placed five year old, placing fifth overall with a score of 133.23. This goes to prove how exceptionally well bred this stallion is and together with his own performance should make choosing a high class sire easy for progressive breeders.

His foals have sold consistently well and in 2000 he covered 90 mares through AI and his fertility rate is very high. "Bahrain Cruise" is fully approved by the Department of Agriculture with a clean sound veterinary certificate. Chilled and frozen semen available.

Fee: €400 N.F.F.R. No responsibility for accident or disease
