Grade A Showjumper

·        by "Diamond Lad", the well-known producer of Showjumpers including Diamond Heather and Heather Blaze.  "Diamond Lad" has a genetic breeding value of 128.34.

·        The dam of 'Caltra Sky Diamond' is "Caltra Sky Lady".  She is by "Sky Boy", sire of many International Showjumpers including The Army's "Cluain Mór", Paul Darragh's "Heide V" and Iris Kellett's "Sky Light".  "Sky Boy" has a genetic breeding value of 121.45.

·        His grand dam is by "Ben Purple" tracing back to the very best bloodlines.

Performance

q       he started his Showjumping career as a 4 yr. old and qualified as a finalist for the National Discovery in Millstreet.

q       as a 5 yr. old he was ridden by a Young Rider and competed at a small number of shows.  He was then purchased by his present owner.

q       as a 6 yr. old he received an award as the leading horse in the Connaught Region after winning many E and D/E competitions against the clock. 

q       as a 7 yr. old he qualified for the B/C at the R.D.S. where he jumped clear both days.

q       He qualified in Ballivor for the 6/7 Championship at Cavan where he finished 7^th in the finals.

q       He was winner of the Teenage Classic at Galway County Show.

q       He placed 2^nd in the Grade C at Millstreet.

q       He had numerous placings in 1.30M competitions including Cellbridge, Cavan and Pilltown.

q       He represented Ireland at the Junior European Championships 2002

He has covered a small number of mares together with his Showjumping duties and his offspring to date are very impressive.
