| This site is all about the renovation of our house , the creation of our garden and the area where we live. The site will be updated as work on the house is completed and the garden develops. The house is in County Meath in the Republic of Ireland. It stands on five acres of land on a hill. The land rises to the back of the house, and from the top of hill there are views to the Hill of Slane, the Hill of Tara, the Dublin Mountains and the Mourne Mountains.We can see the sea and the town of Drogheda. Local sites of interest are Newgrange, an ancient monument in the Bru na Boinne, Monasterboice, Mellifont Abbey and the site of the Battle of the Boyne, at Oldbridge. Before moving to this area we lived near Trim. |
