Search Engines and Internet directories are one of the most popular starting point for activity on the internet. The Search Engines here have been classified in alphabetical order. I have also placed comments with each engine to give you an idea of it's scope and relative usefulness. While search engines are an important research tool, it only represents less than 5% of all traffic on average to come to your site. Also they require a lot of work to really obtain the maximum benefit from them. In any case, it pays to be registered because as the saying goes, if you're not in, you can't win, and here you may win traffic to your site. No serious Internet marketing campaign should be without some planning in order to maximise the benefits of search engines. |
