This is it. This is my baby. Built to my design & specs by Chris Larkin, I ordered it in May '95 & got the call to collect it in February '96. Worse than waiting for any baby. I wanted to put my money into function, rather than looks. Basically, it has the best of both worlds. A 24 fret glue in neck to a Jackson type 3/4 size body.
SPEC'S: BODY: Brazilian mahogany with carved top of African mahogany NECK: Brazilian mahogany , fitted with a fully adjustable truss rod FRETBOARD: Indian rosewood ebony with mother of pearl dots HEADSTOCK: Scarf joint Brazilian mahogany with birdseye maple face MACHINEHEADS: Schaller minis, gold NUT: Bone FRETS: 24 Dunlop graduated SCALE: 628mm (Gibson length) BRIDGE: Schaller tunamatic with stop tailpiece, gold PICKUPS: Seymour Duncan Humbucking. JB4 at bridge, Jazz at neck CONTROLS: Master volume & Tone. Five way pickup selector switch FINISH: Silk AC lacquer (24coats) OTHER: Dunlop straploks are fitted This guitar & every other that Chris makes are completely cut, carved, assembled & finished by hand.
