Information Services Ltd., an information research
and consultancy service. This company offers research
and consultancy in information management,
organisation and presentation; information technology
training and consultancy; web site design and
development; proof-reading and translation services.

Responsible for DCU contribution to
the EC-funded project EQUINOX: Library Performance
Measurement and Quality Management System. This
project is developing and testing a set of
performance and quality indicators for the electronic
and hybrid library, and will develop a software tool
which will facilitate library management in
performance measurement and quality management.
Responsible for the setting up and
running of the Librarys new Central Services
Unit, providing acquisitions, serials, bibliographic
database management and systems support to the
Institutes branch libraries; responsible for
the CSU team of nine; member of Senior Management
Team and involved in policy-making for the future of
Library Services; Library Web Editor.
Responsible for undergraduate and
postgraduate courses in general information
technology and databases in particular, electronic
and general information resources; coordinated 2nd
year Information Studies programmes of B.A. and
B.Soc.Sc. degrees; responsible for departments
computer equipment and supervision of tutor duties in
computer lab. Research towards a PhD.
