Robert Kennedy

Robert F. Kennedy was born in Brookline Massachusetts on 20 of November 1925.

 He Studied at Harvard University. He left University to serve in the U.S. Navy  during World War 2. After the war he returned to Harvard and in 1948 received a B.A. degree. He was awarded an L.L.B degree from the University of Virginia in 1951. Later that year he became an attorney in U.S. Department of Justice. The following year he managed the senatorial campaign of his older brother John.F.Kennedy. After the campaign Robert returned to government service as counsel to several subcommittees. In 1960 Robert was appointed U.S. attorney General. He left his job in 1964 after his brothers assassination. In the same year he was elected U.S. senator from New York. He was very concerned about the poor and disadvantaged. In 1968 Kennedy disagreed with President Lyndon B Johnson about many issues including the Vietnam war.

He started to campaign for the Democratic Party nomination. By June 1968 Kennedy had won elections in Indiana, Nebraska, and California. While at party rally in Los Angles, Kennedy was assassinated. Kennedy died the next day June 6th  1968. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery near to his brother JFK.
