Start at grid ref R 917 282, near village of Rossadrehid. The trail leads south, straight up to Lough Muskry. After the gate about half way up, there is a very steep section, once past this it levels out a little. There is one more steep climb just before the lake. On the way down there are more tracks to follow on the lower slopes.
