HOME PAGE The Cave is developing an innovative new Pre-school and After-school half-day arts facility in Wicklow Town. This bright and spacious facility is centrally located at High Street, adjacent to all local schools.
The Cave Pre-school offers little children a safe, friendly child-centred experience where they can enjoy a stimulating and creative learning experience in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. After graduating, the children may wish to return to The Cave After-school Activity Club, which offers bigger kids the opportunity to have fun and to express their talents in arts and crafts, creative drama, music and singing, expressive dance and creative writing.
Parents can be assured of a high-quality childcare service which complies with all new regulations. Children can be collected from school, have a snack, and get help with homework before launching into an active arts programme delivered by qualified and experienced tutors. This "virtual one-stop shop" allows parents to work, to pursue further education or hobbies, or have that badly-needed day off, safe in the knowledge that their children will be constructively engaged in positive and self-developing activities in a safe, caring and encouraging environment.
During school holidays, The Cave also runs a one-week summer camp, holiday craft mornings, community arts projects and birthday "arty-parties" thoughout the year (further details on request)
