This is what Digi phone say this phone comes in a navy blue but it looks black to me . Last year Eircell had this model in silver for $100 .I loved the look of the silver .The metallic silver and black with nice curves it looked great . This phone is less appealing to me because of its color but for $59 you get what you pay for . Its good to know this is a old model with the standard menu options ,so if you are an enthusiast about mobilephones maybe you should look at other phones this is a basic mobilephone anyone can use .It has A easy menu ,11 different ring tunes , light enough to have on your belt or in handbag but heavy enough to notice its there , this has its plus and its mynas. The advantage of this phone is it has a retractable aerial which is good if you live in a rural or mountainy area where you can't get a good reception with mobilephones ,in general it may give you 1 or 2 extra bars of reception out of 5 bars compared to other phones on Digifones network such as the Siemens C25 . And also the safety aspect of it if you have the aerial up it would reduce the radiation of the phone going in to your head by around 30-40% which is good from a safety point a view. This phone is so easy to use my mother would be able to use it . The disadvantages , this phone model is over a year old and nowadays technology is said to be obsolete in 6 months in the computer world .But I don't thing this phone is, it is just a bit, there is no phone on Eircell or Digiphone GSM network I would brand obsolete . This phone does not have good stand by time like most Motorola's out there it uses a slimline 4.8V Nickel Metal Hydride Battery. Its stand by time is 60 hours just under 5 days and 180 minutes talk time compared to other phones on the market this is poor battery life for the size of the battery. This is an issue if you are one of theses people who travel alot . Summary I think this is a simple to use convent to have phone it is not flashy or technical it is ideal for the person who doesn't like technical things .
