Since its birth in January 2001, Ward & Burke has continued to thrive and progress to the extent that the company presently employs 150 people (including 40 engineers) and is still in the process of expansion. We generally take around ten graduate engineers on board each year.

The company was established by Robert Ward, Michael Ward and Padraig Burke who between them have in excess of 45 years' extensive experience in the construction industry.

The company operates throughout the Republic of Ireland and has a client list comprising of various public, semi-state and private bodies. The company employs experienced personnel, which ensures projects are completed to meet a high quality standards, on time, within budget and in a safe and environmentally friendly way, in accordance with our health and safety policy.

Since its inception, Ward & Burke Construction has cultivated and maintained a professional and committed approach to the many varied fields of civil engineering and construction and has expanded its operation to realise turnover of €24m in 2002 and an estimated annual turnover of €33m in 2003.

The main aim of the company is to successfully complete the project on time and within budget, while conforming to the specifications in the contract. This can only be achieved by ensuring good quality of workmanship, expert planning and up to date technology. Ward & Burke Construction has brought together a team of highly qualified and experienced personnel, many of whom have vast experience in the industry.

The company has also secured contracts on a continuous basis since 2001, owing to its policy of competitive tendering prices and ruthless efficiency on site.
